The most anticipated match happened tonight with Watsons undefeated against TN opponents standing strong in the end. Robinson got the early takedown and cradle scored 2 then 3 up 5-0. The entire rest of the match was Watson battling back and winning in OT 8-6. I figured some people may have wanted to know

yeah it was a great match. Watson showed alot of heart. He really wanted it. i really look forward to a possible rematch for all the marbles in a few weeks.

and i will get individual results when i get to the car.

Wow- sounds like it lived up to its billing.

Sounds like a Victory for my 2nd favorite team,,,appears clear,,,on any given day #3 in TN Baylor can beat #31 in the Nation CBHS,,,today they almost did,,,I bet if CBHS had to wrestle Soddy tomorrow, then Father Ryan back-to-back only to meet Baylor in the finals,,,Baylor would win by more than 1 point,,,just saying.....

Mr. WATSON had a slow start,,,but finished very strong. He looked like he had 3 more 2-minute periods left in his tank,,,Tate owned the first period like a pro(amazing first period by a 10th grader against a 4 time state champion),,,but fell off hard after that to a one sided come from behind win by Zack. I have nothing but respect for both men,,,two great warriors.

CC,,,sends...

    • It was not ACHS at all, they have zero reason to worry about Clinton.  It had to do with a kid (non football player)  that had a charge and appeared in front of the juvenile judge.  The judge saw that the kid was way behind credit wise for his grade and told him to reappear in a month with a plan to graduate.  When the kid reappeared he had more that twice the credits than one month before.  The judge called BS and contacted the school.  That is what started the investigation.  This involves multiple students, but to this point no athletes are involved.
    • I believe the Covington Chargers travel to Trenton Peabody for a scrimmage today? Anyone going to this? Curious how the Chargers will do.
    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
