No doubt, a disappointing season in 2011. Hey smart guy, Powell destroyed everyone except Henry co. The 1A team your refering to is 2A I think. They went undefeated and beat the 2A state champion. You asked how the lizards would do and I replied. The lizards will continue to stink in 2012. Take it slow pride, just try to hope for a single victory next year.

oh sorry, a 5A school got beat by a 2A school...you're right that does sound better...lol...can't wait to see the greatest show on turf

If I was you I would come and watch AC vs Grace. Clinton sucks and you even got elem. and middle school kids wanting to transfer to AC...lol We will accept you all Clinton fans too.... Must suck to suck.... :roflolk:

If we can keep players at home neither of those schools would be in the same league as Clinton. But we also need coaching. I'll support JK but he still hasn't proven himself. And they obviously still have problems from an administrative standpoint because they could have just hired Scotty.

Hmmmmmm, well, from what I know about the district, Clinton would certainly be better if it could have kept several players that went to Grace and Anderson County. But would Clinton have been better than Anderson County? I'm not convinced. AC seems to have a pretty high caliber of coaches. Another team in the district -- Halls -- has suffered a lot of defections over the years and so can make the same argument. Grace's QB is a Halls kid. You just play with the hand you're dealt I suppose and it's the coaches' responsibility to find a way to get the players to achieve.

Well, improving from 0-whatever wont be a hard thing to do :P lol jk..In all honesty, i hope they do improve, it just helps the stock and provides better competition for the other district teams, come playoff time.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
