Beech dominated Dickson Co again tonight. Starters played two quarters and Beech won 25-7. Beech's kicker didn't make the trip for some reason. Should have been 28-7. DC threw three picks. One a pick 6. Hurd was spectacular as usual. Both qbs did some good things. sat night against Trousdale Co should be fun.

Gallatin plays Ensworth tonight under the lights at the stadium. If the budget doesn't pass this could be it for awhile. Definitely need to tackle better than against Riverdale.

I have heard that the Station Camp-Hendersonville game has been taken off Thursday Night Lights.I would think that was a smart move for the T.V. game considering the budget mess.Anyone else heard this?

Mt Juliet 14- 7 over Hillsboro

 

Game not as close as the score. Mj turned the ball over deep in their own territory on first series. Hillosboro took advantage of having the ball inside the MJ 5 for their first and only score. Hillsboro never threatened the rest of the night. The Bears answered back with 2 long drives going up 14-7. Mj moved the ball well most of night ; but a turnover inside the Boro's 1 killed a real good drive; and dropped a wide open pass in the end zone a little later on.

 

MJ played a lot of kids all through the night on both sides of the ball.

Just got back from the Trousdale Co jamboree. Beech is without a doubt loaded on offense. The Hurd kid had 5 touches for over 100 yards total with a 50+ yard td called back. He could be the best back ever at Beech before it is said and done. They will be tough to beat. Station Camp looked pretty good too. Josh Malone and that big kid at QB are gonna light it up this year. Wilson Central looks to have the best defense that I saw tonight. They pursue well and tackle very good. They have a good little back #8 that will jet sweep you to death.

 

On another note, Trousdale Co and Gordonville are going to win a lot of games this year.
