Once more I predicted it. The Lady Admirals totally dominate the Powell Pantherettes!

It was something of a surprise though to see the Dog-girls squeak past Heritage again.

I can't figure out how a team so undersized and inferior manages to win games against such superior conpetition. We are sick and tired of having to beat them all the time.

In any event this stage will be over soon as we prepare to humiliate the Dog-girls prior to their ultimate destruction at the hands of Science Hill. We only have to be gratefull that we get to pummel them first!

Listen being an unbiased fan here, ladyaddad, your team is a very good and well coached team but you sir are completely taking there success this season and wearing everyone out with it. Be proud of what they have done but please do it in a first class manner, those girls not you, there coach not you should be the topic and not the way that you bash other teams be the spotlight. Be proud of what they do and have done. There once was a time that Farragut basketball was the joke of that league

Thank you funsize22, well said! I find it very hard to believe that this could be a Farragut parent or anyone affiliated with FHS. I've been reading ladadad's posts all season but couldnt come up with a nice way to say anything like you just did.

Nevertheless, us basketball fans get the priveledge to watch ROUND 4 between Farragut and Bearden for the opportunity to win a region championship and host the sub-state game on Saturday night. Underwood has done an unbelievable job with his group of young, talented girls (and the best player in the area in Walsh), while Mayfield at Farragut has also done a great job with his experienced group of girls. I believe this will be your typical FHS/BHS basketball game that will come down to the 4th qtr and who makes the big plays down the stretch. Can't wait to see this game and how it unfolds. Good luck to both teams tomorrow night and on Saturday as well.

Rumor is that the TSSAA has contacted all remaining AAA girls schools and told them to not come to M'Boro because Farragut, according to ladadadadadad, is dominant and will destroy every team in its path. ladadadadadaddad your wakeup call is coming.

You , must be a Bearden parent. Has Walsh had any major DI , etc. offers yet? You said she was best in area, I have to disagree with that one, she is good, but Jameson (farragut), Knight (heritage), Bangish (maryville) and several more at private schools , are just as good as Walsh. The best in this area has to be Jada Johnson (fulton)

Tend to agree. Anna Hammaker (CAK) may end up with the best offers of any of those you've mentioned. I like Jameson and Knight but as a college post I would give the nod to Cheyenne Hooper (CAK). Hard to coach/teach 6'6".

I agree with all of you. Walsh is not a well rounded player. She doesnt know how to pass to her teammates or move without the ball. I think that everyone who really knows basketball knows that the most

complete player in the area. is Mad n" Bad Madison Blevins! She can defend score dribble and pass. She makes everyone around her better. She is not a ball hog. And she plays for Farragut!

I can agree with all the above comments on all of those players. I am not saying that the likes of Jameson, Knight, Hammaker, etc are not good or degrading them at all but you look at a team like Bearden with all of the injuries and a girl quitting and she has taken the team on her back and as she goes they go. All of those other girls mentioned have at least one or two other college prospects around them except for maybe Johnson (Fulton). Walsh is all Bearden really has at this point in the season yet she continues to score 20+ night in and night out and they win basketball games. She may not get the biggest college offers or anything like that but there is a difference between a good high school basketball player and a player that has more upside and potential and is more fit for a college team. You look at plenty of boys players over the last 5 years or so who were great high school players but did not get looks. Maybe I should have just said "ONE of the best in the area"... All that being said, who do you all like tonight in the region championship

You're kidding right? Blevins isn't even the best player on her own TEAM, much less the best in East TN. She is a good role player on an average AAA basketball team who is I'm sure a preferred walk-on to Belmont. Get real.

I like Farragut for region championship , Farragut should have never been beaten by Bearden. Heritage had Bearden beat on Monday night, bad passes and turnovers in the last 2 min, helped Bearden win that one. Heritage should be playing tonight! Farragut needs to trap the point guard for Bearden every time she gets the ball and create a turnover, keep someone very close to Walsh at all times and get her in foul trouble, she will reach in and foul. Bearden would have to shut down 5 good players for Farragut, not sure they can do that, Farragut should be playing out of their shoes tonight.

Hate to agree with Ladadad , but he is somewhat correct about Walsh. Bearden runs their whole game around her, she can score, but all she does is shoot. Yes, she was district 4 AAA player of the year and I am sure that is for scoring. Most players will score if they shoot that much. Walsh will need to learn to play defense , create for team mates and ball handing . I think she turned it over 4 times walking, against Heritage. You can't just score and get to the next level. You have to be a well rounded player.

With all that, I like Farragut tonight, they have talent to win big, if they play smart!

Let me be the first to wish you good luck on your journey up to Johnson City. I hope Farragut is able to avoid ultimate destruction at the hands of Science Hill.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
