The y have gotten a lot better on the perimeter.The only team that was able to play zone on UC was Jackson Co because they had a 6'4 player clogging the middle. Everybody else tried zone but it didnt work.

 

They beat other teams that got in foul trouble or either UC was just too strong for mostly on the boards.Not from their sorry outside shooting which I know isnt going to be any better as well as you.UC will beat a lot of good teams that wont be able to match up with them physically.Not because of their outside shooting.

I'm so glad that you have such a promising seventh grade class, but last time I checked we are playing high school ball. So now you are have lost your proven rebounding is gone as well as your play making. Not to mention the pressure defense you had over the last four years is gone. So want are we left with?

 

.....two more shooters than UC! LOL

In defense to what I said about the Jackson Co. and UC game last year... I saw UC multiple times and that was the worst game I had seen them shoot. If UC is going to win them a state championship it needs to be this year. Reedy is a huge piece to that puzzle and without her next year I'm not sure it'll happen. UCtdoes, no reason to quit posting. It's just a variety of opinions.

Reedy is the only senior on the team.I think next year will be an even better chance.If Amber gets back,I think they have a shot these next two years.

 

It also depends what the rest of the state has in Single A as well. Reedy is a major asset to UC and their chances are better of winning it all this year. She takes SOME focus off of Amber especially if she's hitting perimeter shots. I think you guys have a chance this year and next. Jackson Co. is going to be tough this year with Univ. of Kentucky commit in Jaycee Coe (WHO IS ONLY A JUNIOR THIS YEAR) and the 6'4 post is back for her Senior year I believe. It's going to be tough for anyone in Single A to knock of Jackson Co. over the next 2 years.

My honest opinion, if I was playing Union City, I'd pack down into a 2-3 zone which is what I'm sure most teams will do to Union City this year. I was at the state tournaments last year and saw Union City against Jackson Co. and Union City lacked an outside shot, thus resulting in scoring less than 10 points in one half, and that was with Amber. Not saying this team hasn't gotten better shooting from the outside over the summer, but if they haven't improved on perimeter shooting, you won't win a state championship. I hope Union City does have a great season and a great run in Murfreesboro though.... just my 2 cents on it all.

If you have the talent a box and one would be my plan. But you are going to need a good defender to stay with Fair.

      Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.

      The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??

      If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
