tigertiger
Anybody have any news on how the new coach is going to do over in Dyer? Hopefully he will at least be 0-1 after this week, but I can't say that is a sure thing or not.

GCPioneer
This will probably be a close game. Gibson has made several personnel changes from last year. We have 2 pretty quick athletes at QB/RB and moved our FB and QB to OLine. If Halls isn't any better than they were last year, Gibson should win this by a TD or 2. If they have gotten better, it should be a good game as Gibson is improved a bit from last years team with just the small personnel changes made. These guys have worked hard this summer. Maybe the hard work will translate into a W this week!

tigertiger
Hey GCPioneer, how did your jamboree go last Friday night?
GCPioneer
Hey GCPioneer, how did your jamboree go last Friday night? It went good for us. I know Greenfield and Fulton City weren't the greatest teams we could've played, but Gibson Co. was easily the better of the 3. I'm not saying we're state champions or any of that, but Coach Cruse has done a fine job in the short time he's been here. It also helps that we have 2 of our quicker players on the team at QB and RB and have some WR's that can catch the ball. When all else fails this year, our QB can actually scramble and elude players. Friday night should be a good game in my opinion.
