Probably thinking that blackman, tyner and east hamilton, the teams they lost to are way better than sp and mc that you guys lost to.

Thats a good point. I guess maybe he is saying that Grundy could get destroyed by East Hamilton, Tyner, and Blackman just as easily as SM did. I didn't realize that Tyner was so much better that SP. Edited by nitetrain

Not could. They would get destroyed. Now is Tyner so much better than SP? I will say Tyner has plenty of size and a bunch of speed and they even have some depth this year. However, they tend to play up and down more than they should. If they were focused and playing well they would beat SP. But up and down play is a lack of focus and that's not an issue for SP.

I think the fellers is finally mad and ready to kick some arse. This game has huge district implications for both teams. It will be won or lost in the trenches. Whoever controls the line of scrimmage will win. Guess we'll find out who wants it most come Friday night. redthumb.gif

I heard that's where Signal is struggling right now.

That has been one of our problems up to this point, but I'm seeing a lot of improvement. The first string OL looked really good and whipped the the first sting D yesterday in practice, and I think the front 7 on defense are starting to finally get PO'd.

Well I haven't seen Grundy play this year, but I have seen SM play a few. East Ham game well they are really good and we didn't even show up. Tyner vs. SM, Tyner just beat us. But again we really didn't really show up. Bledsoe, just really not that good. Blackman game, they dressed 108 kids. (Bill please don't schedule them anymore) I still like our Eagles in this one, not a blow out by any means. Just hope for a good clean game (nobody hurt) I hope we travel a ton of folks for a good gate at Grundy and play well. Good luck to both teams!thumb[1].gif

For what its worth, Mccallie beat Blackman in a scrimmage, and of course had no problem with Tyner.
