I know it's early but I was just wondering what folks thought about Jacob Warbritton's chances of being nominated for Mr. Football. I've always thought the whole thing was very political and boys from West TN really were at a disadvantage due to lack of press coverage in the area. Yet this kid has put up some great numbers so far so just was curious about what the chatter on this topic might be.

He's the best player I've seen this year.

a whole lot of season left to play yet but JP Evans and Matt taggett, both from Moore County have put up some great numbers from both a running and passing standpoint. Evans averages more than 7 yards per carry and taggett averages just under 10 yards per carry

What about the Johnson kid and the Lankford kid that was nominated last year. One is averaging 14 yards a carry and the other 18.

Lankford will be mr football just look at what he has done against some competition

Johnson has it this year if he stays healthy. Him and Lankford are two worthy candidates.The hard thing is in 1a mr. football your talking about 1a and 2a combined.

Creed Rose from cascade needs to be mentioned over 1000 yards rushing and he's only a sophomore.

Moore county will not have a mr. football this year. Brandon wells was the best football player to play at Moore county and he didn't win. Not downing the kid but Evans isn't half the player wells was.

Warbritton should definitely be a nominee. He should probably win the award but that doesn't happen because he lives in West TN. That system needs to become more fair asap
