ArtVandalay
Give the Cougars their due.... They have won 3 games already thIs season, so they are having a great start to this season....I think Central's schedule will turn difficult from here on out though. DB has has a weeks rest and a week to practice the offense with #6 Foreman at QB....that's scary to think about with the 1 awesome game that their offense had a couple of weeks ago against Boone. It should be the DB Duo clicking for sure and that will mean big play after big play and TD after TD. Roll Tribe Roll
dbFAN91
I bet this thread will be on page #2 by Wednesday. But, congratulations to some of the bottom dwellers of the conference for unexpected improvements this year. Its good to see Volunteer and Central getting bettet. And Crockett put 52 on the board last Friday. ROLL TRIBE
ArtVandalay
All season I kept waiting for the Indians offense to run the pass plays to Swafford that were ran against Boone. The 2 TD passes from Foreman to Swafford, the wheel route out of the backfield and Swafford running the post on the 2nd score...that was the first time all season that those plays had been run. DB will need those plays against top competion later in the year and they were executed nearly perfect against Boone. I think Graham Clark will continue to open up the offense more and more from here on out. Graham Clark is going for DB win #194 against Sullivan Central (193-42 - 82.13%). The G-Man has won so many games in 20 years that he has 26% of DB's all-time wins (742) but on 5% of the all-time losses (217) Now that is a stat. SGHSAlum93
Props to central for their improvement this year. Hope they fight till the end in this one. Always a good thing for NE TN teams to improve . DB on a different level this year. Lookin forward to week 10!
ArtVandalay
Dobyns-Bennett's offense has scored 25 TD's on 27 first half possesions thru 5 games....add in 2 Punt Returns for TD to make it a total of 27 first half TD's total. One of the 2 drives was a 1 play drive that started with :06 left in the first half against Sullivan South. DB is averaging 50 points per game going into the game with the Cougars Roll Tribe Roll Edited September 26, 2012 by ArtVandalay
Pudding
Cougars looking forward to the enrollment reclassification fo sho. Coach Clark, play those starters a few of series and try some new ideas on O for the future, then let the non-starters and underclassmen get some minutes, please. How bad would it be if DB beats Central by 50 but lose Swafford or Foremen to an injury. Just sayin',,,, pray not.
