Waverly beat MC 96-39. It looks like to me without having seen either team that perhaps CC has the best defensive team and Waverly has the best offensive team. So should be a shoot out. Good to see the boys in the District improving. It is great to see Waverly returning to form. Knew it would happen with a good coach coming in.

Papatiger, the style Waverly plays allows them to score more points against inferior opponents, (press whole game). CCCHS does not press the entire game but plays pressure defense. With that being said, these two teams will be the premier matchup in the District. Should be Fun.

Harpeth won at Sycamore in overtime

Creek Wood beat Camden in a close battle

As McEwenAlumni stated above... It's not as much the WCHS offense as it is their pressure in your face full court D... Turnovers = points jack... Their offense is above average, but their full court pressure D is where they make their living...

Shouldn't be hard to find lol, and Waverly plays Houston County at home tomorrow. I believe they won by 40 last time though.

Waverly beat Houston County by 84-36 last night. It was 31-1 in the 2nd quarter and starters played maybe 14 minutes in the game.

Cheatham County beat White House by 33 last night. One Cubs starter scored 22 points and a player who traditionally plays limited minutes off of the bench had a career night scoring 16 points. Tonight the Cubs are back in district action as they host Stewart County and look to climb to 9-2 on the season. Go Cubs!
