First let me say thanks to everyone who participated in the 2012 regular season 'Big Games in Memphis' prognostication contests. As I type these words I believe that tuskegee21 is putting the finishing touches on last week's tallies. I'm not a rocket scientist but I don't have to be to say congratulations to fourthree for being the 2012 'Big Games in Memphis' regular season champion. The question remains ... can he produce the goods in the post season?

 

Welcome one and all to the 2012 play-off edition for Big Games in Memphis. Round one of the TSSAA high school football play-offs and we will be looking at all things Memphis-area related. I've cut and paste the list of games from the CA to use as our selection of games. I plan to do this throughout the play-offs as long as there are Memphis-area teams still playing. Hey "SEC1Rules" dont mean to get in your buisness but it looks like you might have missed game 11 which is Ral-Egypt vs Sheffield. You got 11. DBurg and 12. Trezvent but they play each other in game 12. Just trying to help out!

Oh ... goodness gracious pea picking molly owlbooster! I don't have a running knowledge of D2 schools. All I know is what happens locally. I saw a 4 seed vs. a 5 seed where St. Benedict was 4- 5 on the season and McCallie was 4-5 as well. I know that St. Benedict has Mr. Jordan Wilkins running the ball. I figure he's good enough to get at least 150 yards and they pull out a win. All of this other stuff you mention is news to me.

Some other "news" to you is that sadly Mr Jordan Wilkins is "out for the season" with a broken leg suffered in the 2nd quarter of the MUS game....mellow.png

      Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
