In Ambassador's defense, in past years, all most people on here have heard is how good SP is.

TT, give it a day for the alcohol and the hangover to wear off, and you might be saying some of the same things.icon_mrgreen.gif

Croz in past years I might have expected SP to win. I am hoping for them to win this year, but it would take a special type of effort. One for the ages as some would say.

From watching South Pitt, try to contain #2 because your not going to stop him, he is going to get his yards... He hurt us last year plus us self destructing late in the 3rd (still upset about how we acted) sorry South Pitt fans... Like Croz said we are at our best in the i-formation and just lining up and coming at you... I believe we are a better team than last year, same players but with a different attitude, we got rid of our main issues that caused us to act the way we did... I look for it to be a good game, I believe both teams along with everyone else has been waiting on this game but like everyone else, to bad its not in two weeks...

I like the Fb as well I believe he could be a threat but I hope our d-line can stop him... Plus the other rb as well... Personally I believe we should line up in man and dare South Pitt to throw because that is not what they like to do unless both rb's are lined up together, then that is where they are throwing...Keep them running side to side, split out our DE alittle more to help out maybe even bring in Cason as a extra LB... But hey, I'm not a coach

Demetric is good. However, Jajuan, Corbin, and Khalil are all good as well. It's no secret we want to run, but like all year we have had guys wide...and I mean wide open...we just have to capitalize when we throw...

Wolverine, tell them to take it easy on SP. They only have 4-5 seniors that play. Outside of that its a bunch of young pups just trying to find out what it's like to play in these big game atmospheres.

Come on now Ambassador, they were in even a bigger game on the same field last year and did just fine... Your Pirates are still the team to beat !!!

Could be wishful thinking 46on2. I hope you're right though. I think it would take one of those special efforts to have a shot in this one. You going up Friday?

Hey just tired of reading all the posts by Pittsburg folks hyping Gordonsville up.They will not have the Big Head. They will be ready for revenge.Just feel like the Pirates will step up and play the type of Defense they should have been playing all year. Its time to SHINE...yea i will be there

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
