The talk about Boyd, GCA, and FC don't really have much to do in this game. This one is between SP and Gordonsville....pretty much an annual playoff game matchup. Personally, I don't think Gordonsville is any better than GCA or Boyd. I feel about like I did last year going into this game....that Gordonsville has a good team but the Pirates have a chance in this one. Line play is my biggest concern going into this game. We have alot of first year starters that have had their share of tough games this year, but they won't back down. I think the Pirates come into this game focused and ready to play. I think the pressure this year is on Gordonsville to win since everyone expects them to make a serious run for the state title this year. Should be a great game in a good atmosphere this year....just wish it was in the 4th round like it has been in the past. Can't wait for Friday night!

By this you mean if SP has 4-5 turnovers? I think it will be much worse than Boyd if SP turns it over.

 

Please shut the hellz up! You have been going at this alllllllllll year!!! Yes the Gmen are the favorite yes SP should lose but you still gotta play the game....You just keep kicking a dead dog over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.....Is it necessary to just non stop tell everyone how great they are????? What are you trying to accomplish? If its just to get on nerves you have officially gotten on mine just from this thread. Cut the cord and shut your pie hole or get rid for spilt milk....Excuse the....................Sorry been drinking but I can't take it anymore

WTHE. You been at it all year as well. If you don't think what I said is accurate oh well, but it is. Alot of turnovers and the game gets out of hand. If they don't turn it over it might stay interesting.

+1 TT. After reading his post I started looking for that commemorative bottle of bourbon I had put up for my heirs. He has driven me to drink also. I truly do not believe he attended SPHS. He keeps asking croz and other GV fans to build his confidence by asking them to say how great GV is. If SP wins he will need a bottle of whiskey.

U keep repeating the same crap over and over.....This thread already has 20 post from you reminding everyone just how awesome Gordonsville is. You just keep reminding us.....Over and over and over and over....Do u think by chance we might know how u feel about the game?? Do I think SP will win?       And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…

      Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.

      Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.

      After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.

      Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
