Are you freaking kidding me? If he had thrown the ball earlier there would not have been a receiver there to catch it besides he was too busy trying not to get sacked. And I guess that Prevo was just lucky and it was a fluke.? How long have you been watching Maryville play football? This stuff is what they do? They make you pay for your mistakes with sound fundamental football ... OR was never in the game. Wait , if OR had done this it would be great football!

 

 

I never said the Prevo TD was a fluke. It was a great play by a great player. I have seen Prevo make many plays like that. The whole team played great at Oak Ridge that night. I also have watched Maryville football for over 35 years. I watched 3 older brothers be part of state title teams. All 3 of my brothers were on the 1976 title team with my oldest brother being the starting quarterback.

 

 

STARS brings up a great point about MCMinn in 2009. Same thing happened in 2004. Maryville killed Powell and Central in the regular season. In the playoffs against those same teams Mareville barely won those games. I don't take any game for granted.
