Boyd wins this game. Those boys are too close to getting another shot at beating Friendship Christian...........AGAIN :popcorneater:

AGAIN I say, "if the ENTIRE game were re-played with real refs, FCS STILL would have won. Maybe, just maybe, if Boyd wins this week and FCS wins this week, we can FINALLY put this to rest!

I personally think we at Boyd haven't given one thought this week to FCS because we are playing the #1 overall seed this week, so that is the game that matters PERIOD!!!!!

GO BUCS!!!!!

Why would a game have to be replayed when there was a winner? :popcorneater:

Exactly, that's why our kids rings say "2011 STATE CHAMPS". Yours are simply class rings. Here's hoping you get by Grace. Possumtown awaits & our entire group will leave NO DOUBT kinda like last spring when we saw Boyd last. Edited by Volzchamps

You better worry about this week's game before you start talking smack about what you are going to do next week. We've got the number 1 team this week - that is what we are focused on.

Camparing scores of common opponents can be deceiving. In 2006 Red Bank beat Brainerd 77-8. In the Play-offs Maryville beat Brainerd (at home) 30-26. Common opponent Maryville by 4 , Red Bank by 69. Who won the game between Maryville and Red Bank? Maryville 38-14.

You just can't always judge by common opponents. With that said, this game is a runner-up game. FCS gets the gold ball.

I would agree except FCS only played 1 game against a worthy opponent and lost. Next year when they play a real schedule with Wilson Central, BGA, Webb, and CPA then come back and chat. GCA and Boyd schedule tougher opponents, maybe that's why the power rating rates both way ahead. GCA scheduled a 5A, 4A, 3A, and South Pitt as out of district games. All of which won 50% or more of their games and made the playoffs, one of which won 3A state last year and has an opportunity to win again this this should they get past Alcoa. By the way GCA defense held CAK to their lowest scoring game all season. Did you know that CAK off line averages 270 and their offense is the highest rated passing in the state? The winner of the GCA - Boyd game will win state regardless of both teams losing their starting RB's.
