mondo44
Observations from a Hville fan. Scrimmaged Bwood, played MJ in the regular season. 1. Defense- edge to Bwood 2. Offense- both are very good, OL edge to Bwood, backs and receivers edge to MJ, speed edge to MJ 3. Kickers- MJ kicker put 6 of 6 kickoffs in the end zone and hit from over 50 on FG in warmups. Bwood kicker good on kickoffs, didn't see FG or extra points due to bad snaps causing either misses or blocks. Pemberton had the best hat throw of the year on the last one, Spurrier would be have been proud. 4. 2 predictions, low scoring game Bwood wins (in the 20's) high scoring MJ wins (in the 30's or more)

clsand99
Revenge game. BHS returns all but 6 starters. These 16 returning starters & 36 Bruin seniors have been working toward this game for 12 months. It will seem close until the 4th quarter when the BHS depth and physicality help them pull away. Brentwood starting D has 6 shutouts this year (Gallatin's TD came on FR & Hunters Lane TD came late in the 4th Q against the 2nd team D after the 3rd team QB fumbled in Bruin territory). Brentwood will need to avoid the penalties and special teams turnovers - which they've done in 11 out of 12 games (Blackman!)... BHS 31 MJ 14. Your saying MJ Bears are not physical and don't have depth? No disrespect to BHS because I know that they have a great team but you won't be seeing a final score of 31 to 14. If BHS wins, it won't be by that.
GWAVE1
Gallatin's td did not come on the freshman!! It was because the Qb got sacked again and fumbled. Gallatin did an excellent job in the first half of stopping Brentwood. They just had very little offense with a couple of the starters sitting out due to the previous week so Gallatin had several underclassmen playing multiple snaps. Brentwood played well in the second half and maybe they had an off night. However, I still feel Mt Juliet is better than them. Also not impressed by their fanbase either. Late coming to the game and seats not full. Then you get mistruths on here. Typical. Go Bears!

Brentwood is good ; but has not played anyone as good as MJ or that has speed of MJ. If score iis 31-14 it will be in favor of MJ. Too much speed for Bruin D. It's game day ! Go Bears ! GWAVE1
My pardon clsand99. Fr, So, Jr and Sr usually denote classes so I misunderstood. Thanks for the clarity.

It took a fluke sack/fumble for y'all to even score, and then you couldn't even convert the PAT. Brentwood flat out wiped the field with Gallatin, no ifs ands or buts about it. Back on topic... I can't wait for this one tonight. Both teams are very talented, but I think Brentwood's defense is just too good for MJ to have a shot. Their defense is really, really good.
