Yea he is a good kid...hope he gets to play next year...I was at that game got to talk to him and his mom when he got hurt....I was the one that was out there with him before the fire dept got there..... tell him I said to hang in there. And good luck...

Thanks, That means a lot to me....some of the coaches told me the family was glad I was there on the sideline that night........I knew it was a bad.. But I held his hand and told him he would be chasing girls in a week.....Stay with him until they loaded him up,then went back working the chains.......I was with him for about twenty mins, and could tell he was a good kid from a good family..

I talked to Stephon's mom today. The doctors say "no", but she thinks there might be a chance with the right kind of brace. I told her we'd love to have him back, but risking permanent damage is not worth it. Time will tell.
