eagleman13
our punter is just as effective as our kicker. so i would agree with you, that kicking is going to be a huge factor. Especially since we're going to have an uphill battle, field position will be key for us.
mustangpop2012
How bout kickoffs? As far as field position goes you won't get the chance to run many kickoffs back. Our kicker usually puts them thru the end zone. We prolly haven't punted 10 times all year and we will kick a field goal from time to time. Not that we can't, just haven't had to. eagleman13
His kickoffs usually lands between the five and ten yard line. Last week however, he put two back in the endzone.
mustangpop2012
This is just a FYI for NCS' since you don't know much about our boys. They are a very driven, they play with class, there will not likely be any cheap shots nor none tolerated, they are business like in their demeanor and they simply do their jobs just the way they have been taught. Each kid knows what he's responsible for and they play as a unit. You will most likely see the same handful of plays all night and be scratching your head trying to figure out why your boys can't stop it. I could be wrong but in 13 games (against good teams) Trenton, Milan, Dresden, Union City, West Carroll.... None have stopped it. We believe, our boys believe that this is our year. One game at a time they are making believers out of everyone they play. I'm again praying for injury free game and safe travels to all!! eagleman13
Thanks for the info mustangpop. Our coaches are the same way. They don't teach nor tolerate bad play from their team. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience last week down in Collinwood. Each one of our players go about their business on the field like they've been taught, with professonalism and courtesy for the game. As you can probably imagine, we have been underdogs for most of the season. Like you guys, we take one game at a time and hopefully we're still around towards the end to make any game interesting. wildcat89
I think the difference in this game will be the defense. Nc defense just gave up 35 to a slightly above average Cwood team, Huntingdon will score 60 if the same defense shows up this week. On the other side huntingdon is pitching near shutouts, Nc wont put up 45 on that defense.

KermitDeeFrog
I am not going to do a news flash this week, cause Butchie dont like them cause they a little long, (if they make it to Cooksville though I will do one just keep it shorter if I can or post my facebook link so people can see it from there). However I have a good feeling lots of fans better be getting their quarters ready as I have a feeling we will be buying a lot of jackson suns as well as the carroll leader & Banner. I already got my handful of quarters ready from carroll bank just in case. To be honest that is all the news we will need lol

But, of course, that's only if they are working. Who knows what we will all see if your defense shuts those down . Nobody has so far, but sounds like we are up against a much tougher defense than we've seen thus far.

Taking nothing away from your mustanks pop..... but come on..... I would say Milan did a pretty good job of stopping it. Well maybe slowing it down is a better way to put it!! 13pts!!!
