Report from camp is team was thrown a little early from Bledsoe's size and physicality but responded well and played tough throughout the morning...team is young but looks to be coming together very nicely...coach says its been a great week and the kids have learned alot and gotten better....so its on to Tyner Tuesday...Bucs fans come check out the squad..scrimmage gets kicked off at 5:15!! www.boydfootball.com

Everyone with any sense knows Boyd won't be a bad football team. They are still one of the top 8 teams in 2A.

OK..should be competitive matchup.

It's 6:10pm and the scrimmage has been stopped because of lighting..score tied 1-1 and Rams were on Boyd's 10-yard line when play was stopped.

No regular officials are being used( I prefer the "real" ones) but it's all good!

 

Each teams Offense had the ball three(3) times. Boyd was 1st and mixed-up the pass with the run and scored on a pass play. Tyner's 1st possession was riddled with "fumbles" and stalled.

 

Boyd's 2nd possession was pretty good and ended on the Rams' 15-yard line.

 

Rams got to work and put together a 10-play drive(only one pass) and scored!

Boyd's last drive was the victim of the Ram "D" and ended on their own 40-yard line.

 

I will be surprised if this scrimmaged is concluded...it was good while it lasted!!

They (offense)looked good especially on the 1st drive... Boyd's front seven on "D' were not able to stop the sweeps...once Tyner's RB's turned the corner they were gone...Boyd's mixture of pass/run was very effective on the first two series.

Thanks for the updates...Hope the Rams have a good year. The line is a key for Boyd...the should air the ball more this yr

Thanks, Wingman10...Boyd's line will come around...skill positions are good and when the O-line blocks #3 will give some teams fits!

Boyd is always good. Anyone that thinks Boyd will be a pushover is kidding themselves.
