Sequatchie county. Dunlap is well coached. Bledsoe is, by far, the most talented team in the district. I was very impressed at how athletic their starting 5 are. Bledsoe has been blessed athletically the last few years. Good to see them do well. But Bledsoe boys, coaching kept sequatchie in it first time. Smith is very underappreciated in Dunlap .

Bledsoe was at VanBuren last night and Worthington fouled out with 6:16 left in 2nd quarter, Bledsoe was up 20 to 13 at that point and led 41 to 17 at half and won 83 to 44. I am not saying this team doesn't need worthington, especially in district/region but we do have other players who can score/play defense/rebound and make athletic plays. Bledsoe will have a chance to compete for the region title/runner up spots but must have all players be on and not have anyone get in foul trouble early. If hale or mccloud get hot, Worthington is Worthington, Frechette and campbell give us the defense/rebounding, and get good minutes off the bench from warden, cagle, and boynton they can be competitive in region tourney. But I guess alot of teams can say that if all that goes well for them, lol. I guess my prediction will be that we do not get embarassed, which is what happened in the region tourney the last two years, we should at least be competitive with district 8AA, top to bottom.

Sequatchie hasn't played out there in the last several years but it looks like nothing has changed! smh

If I'm not mistaken that is the only place that I can remember of former Lady Indians coach Anita Barker getting ejected from a game.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
