8AA Mid Season Review

Any coach at Dekalb Co. asking/expecting players to miss a possible regional championship game to go on some trip for a out of season sport should be ashamed. Seriously where is the respect for Coach Martin?

Lets just worry about making the championship game, right now. I feel like DC is in for a dogfight tomorrow night..

I do too dctiger. DC has faced adversity all year but can that get over this? This meaning the injury to Howell, against a good team (I know they beat upperman) all the drama about the players not being their for championship if they do win, and it seems like a lot of drama now than ever

Ok! You heard it here 1st! Poindexter & Erkel are missing the regional championship game to attend the out of season chess convention! Seriously, anyone willing to miss for any other sport wont be missed. Because it will take a whole team effort from dedicated players to win anyway!

I think DC will be ready. This just isn't going to be a cakewalk by any means. Last years scores need to just be disregarded.

7:30-7:45 I think. Although jim314 has us playing at 6 on his bracket website. Can any one explain why?

Don't think the drama will affect DC. They will be focused. Kills me that Howell does everything in is power to get back on the floor and gets hurt. He loves the game his team and coach. Ask anyone. A few won't kill a team. Fullilove and Atnip will leave everything on the floor. The coach has done a great job considering the roller coaster throughout the season. Just one more hurdle in the Tigers way. Good luck DC. U can do this.

Was at the girls games tonight. 2 great games. I think the boys games will be even more exciting

Upperman and LA will be down the wire. Just may Upperman's time to get some payback. LA is the king till proven otherwise.

Just feels like Howell hasnt been able to catch a break all year. I was happy for him when he got 2nd team all district despite missing so many games. Now i just hope he can get healthy and salvage whats left of his baseball season.

 

As for the game with Bledsoe, im just ready for it to happen, win or lose. Good luck to all four teams tomorrow night!
