Baylor v McCallie ending

McCallie trailing 36-31 needing a pin to win match. Elsea gets the pin in the second period making the match 37-36 McCallie. Elsea jumps up after the pin and runs into coaches arms, he is dinged with unsportsmanlike conduct making the match 36-36. Baylor wins the tie breaker due to unsportsmanlike conduct.

Wow! That is about the saddest thing I have heard in a while! The wrestlers, parents, and coaches deserve so much better than this. The referees have been awful this weekend--a general lack of understanding and knowledge of the sport. There are a lot of new faces in the refereeing group, but that does not excuse it at the State tournament.

I'll tell you what their thinking......their thinking about themselves!! So many of the TN refs. make it about themselves and not the kids!!!
