ThrillaNvanilla
I agree watching them online was well worth it, but nothing beats sittin there in person
IrishBBall
All this love for Macon Co, and much respect, but I don't think there's a player like Cheyenne Hooper in the tournament. She's a one of a kind player in Tennessee basketball and I don't think this team of youngsters should be overlooked. Experience is key, but sometimes the young team just doesn't know any better than to ball out... Anyways, I'm cheering for my CAK Lady Warriors in this one! Disappointed TSSAA doesn't broadcast the games online like they used to. In my 10 years on CoachT, I think this is my first post in the girls basketball forum so congrats to the Lady Warriors and bring another trophy home! Get with the program James! robpride
macon by 10, havin seein both teams for the first time yesterday. macon impressed me alot, and for cak i wont say lucky for beating my woodbury girls but well whoever watched the game knows. #23 on cak is their main weapon. she plays NO d what so ever, as for 6.6 girl she has size which does her good but not a scoring threat. a shocking first round to say the least Here we go again......waaah They beat my team but they arent any good.....jeesh
EBTHER
Bigpun, the big girl for CAK had a double double last night so saying she is not a threat..... Cannon did not have a defense for her. She could've had 20 last night if they would have fed her the ball more. I think she will be less effective on defense against Macon. They don't go inside very much. CAK will have to guard the perimeter a lot better if they want a chance to beat them. Cannon had way too open looks. I would say Macon wont miss those shots. Still pulling for the Warriors. Should be a great game. Edited March 8, 2013 by EBTHER
BigPun
was waitin for somebody to say that ha. and yes i am biased but facts are facts the way we played wouldnt have beaten any body in the tourny, lot pf those point from the line "she is a very solid free throw shooter, which is rare and surprised me" but did have as good a defense they could have had for her IMO. anyway Macon will have their shots, more overall talent again IMO. should be some games today good luck to all involved! BigBama42
Macon..... Macon County. Does it matter? Hoping for all east final anyway.
FLMS
I didn't see Macon County but in the past they are usually pretty good. CAK probably has the most talent in the field two top 30 prospects in their class and two other starters that could play D2. If Bre was playing they would have 5 players that could play at the next level with two of those lock D1 and another sitting out that has a great shot. The girls just have to bring energy and play a little more defense to win the next two. Cannon had wide open shot after wide open shot. Luckily cannon shot 3-32 from the field. Though cannon took some deep three's and Cheyenne altered a few the rest were open looks. A Mrs. Basketball finalist couldn't buy a free throw and even missed a break away lay up to cut the lead to two. Hopefully nerves are out of the way and they can put that one last night behind them. coachh17
I think CAK's size will present a major challenge for Macon. Hammaker is capable of taking over the game. I will take CAK.......49-44. Edited March 8, 2013 by coachh17
