CPA - Division II?

Maybe, just maybe, the Lindsey's were able to locate and pay for an apartment all by themselves. And that goes for tuition as well. Do you doubt their ability to pay CPA's tuition because of their race? Because of where they moved from? Because of Jalen's skill? I don't get it. Do you have intimate knowledge of their financials?

One of the most common criticisms of this CPA team. I would be more suspicious of recruiting had he not previously played for Drew Maddux. He played AAU for him. He liked him as a coach. Drew Maddux gets a job as a high school coach. Jalen wants to play for him in high school. How is this a "HUGE RED FLAG'? It makes perfect sense to me.

I never ONE TIME said anything about race. You did. You lost all credibility when you said you would be more suspicious of recruiting had he not played for Drew Maddux in AAU. That is his game. Get into the AAU find the best players and get them to come to CPA. I would be really mad if I was one of the parents of kids that pay full price to "play for Coach Maddux". I guess they like getting to sit on the bench of a State Championship team. I guess they like paying full price when the "stars" get work studies and their kids do not. Don't worry, CPA will find the next best 6th grader to replace all of them. Bring them in. Join the church for tuition breaks, and then all the CPA faithful will say they were home grown.

I never said that you said anything about race. And you didn't answer my question, maybe it wasn't clear enough. Why do you doubt the Lindsey's ability to pay for CPA?

C'mon champ. We both know that Ms. Lindsey landed a job with the father of another player in the school AFTER he made it to CPA. No need to name names, but we both know it is true. Surely you will not deny that one. Just might have allowed them to help pay tuition? By the way, how tall is his 12 year old little brother now? 6'2"?

I'd be mad too, if I was one of the real "home grown" kids, and I wanted to play, but instead

was riding the pine, watching my coach bring in his AAU team. Especially if I was an

upperclassmen, and sitting the bench for an 8th grader.

When family members are given jobs, there is no doubt.

Coach Foozeball, you've never been shy about your dislike for CPA in the past, why are you being coy and shy now? If you have knowledge of violations come forward and be candid. If the CPA administration is doing something wrong they need to be held accountable. If there are boosters that are violating rules, they need to be held accountable too. If you are just spreading unfounded rumours, we all need to know that too. So stop making fuzzy accusations and be specific.

Ensworth did not play their starters but one. The football players didn't play. They were in the playoffs.

Ensworth also lost both times they played Gabriel Christian. One of the losses by 20 points. DeKalb played GC three times and beat them by double digits every time except the first meeting. One of DC's wins over GC was by 40 points. D2 doesn't seem that strong, IMO.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
