Why is Mitchell wrong for staying in 1A.

Our enrollment puts in in single A. Many at the TSSAA tournament were upset with us for staying there. I could see if we cheated to to move down, we cannot control our enrollment.

You play who is put in front of you.... that is all you can do. Yes you can play up. But so can everyone else. If they don't want to play you... they can move up!!!

They fear the Memphis competition and know that year in and year out you guys will be running Single A. Keep up the good work man! Great team and excellent coaching staff!

We do look forward to the challenge. We were in 1A 97-2002 and enjoyed the games with Trenton, Halls, Bradford.....

What about the region championship game with Greenfield? Did you enjoy that one? Just kidding! I played in that game and yall were very good. Shouldve been a rematch on Saturday in Murfreesboro that year. I would rather play y'all than a private school.

That was a good game. We were blessed to win the sub-state(what it was called back then) game at Middleton to advance to the state tournament. Are you all still 1A?

I'm at Greenfield helping with our Junior High boys team so I'm still around. Middleton was a very good team that year as well and tough place to play at.

That's just the fear talking. I'm looking forward to the possibility of a Mitchell or BTW or Middleton region championship with UC and Humboldt in substate.

GC u right ..BUT..The fact is Mitchell will recruit year in and year out because that's what Memphis does!..So when players from Memphis know they gotta chance of winning state every year they will come from everywhere..Barger from Lake Co. Is recruiting as we speak right now because she knows LC will never make it out of the region without a couple more great players..She is just like McCord and the rest

copenoc, I have lost ALL respect for you with that garbage post you just made!! Coach B recruiting?? Really? You sir are an idiot!! There is NO and I repeat NO recruiting going on in LC, guess the jealousy is just showing through. If Lake County is doing ANY recruiting at all it is the recruiting of our own kids!! Trying to keep them in Lake Co. instead of Dyer Co. or somewhere else. Show me one shread of evidence you have that Lake Co. is recruiting! Heck even the ineligible player that the Falcons had to forfiet games for was a Lake Co. kid who went to school in LC from elementary through middle school, was living in Lake Co. and attending Dyer Co. So you can't even use that incident as a valid point in recruiting. As far as that goes didn't the UC girls have to forfiet some games last year because of an ineligible player?? Think so. Guess that means they are recruiting as well with her and the Reedy girl playing at UC. Drop the green envy glasses and post realisticly and with some shred of facts to back it up.

Hey don't forget about TCA!! We are the ones that knocked off Westwood last year and BTW this year in region. We also return seven of first 10 players and 10 of top 13. We were heavy with freshmen and sophomores. We will only have one senior next year. No doubt having Mitchell and BTW in our region will make it real tough along with MAHS and Westwood. We also have to deal with Middleton and Adamsville in our district and bless us if we get out of this tough region because we then have to face 14A- Humboldt, LC, UC etc, etc, etc!! Any team that gets out of West Tn to the boro deserves to be state Champions because you will be battle tested! Mitchell does create a whole new problem to the boro for West Tn 1A!! Got to beat the best to be the best so why not Mitchell!
