Mr Durbin and the School Board are committed to making the Dyersburg campus the premier in West Tennessee.

This is not about sports, but about the campus in general. Dyersburg has outstanding academic programs, but the campus has become dated and funcionally behind the times.

When the construction is all over around 2015, students and the community will be proud of what has be accomplished.

Impressive to say the least! The softball field and baseball fields are top notch as well, but has any thought been put into the turf over there as well? It's not common at the the major league level, but it is becoming the thing to do at the college level. It may be expensive and hard to propose to the public, but really you're saving money in the long run as indicated in that article.

This is probably going to be the best high school facility in the state once completed. It's going to be nice to be the first team to play on the turf, when the JCM Cougars come to town for the first game. Oh yeah, you do have a game to play.

Not the best in the state, as Steve Spurier Field is very nice up at Johnson City, as are several other stadiums.

Probably one of the top ten stadiums, as far as accommodations and tecnology. As far as size goes, definitely NOT in the top ten, as the stadium will be somewhere around 4,000 to 5,000 seating, about the same size or slightly larger than Dyer County's current stadium, if I understand my source correctly. That is still a large stadium for most 4a schools.
