I will say that Overton has performed better than I expected so far this season.  I only hope they can keep it up and represent metro football with a few wins in the postseason.  Great job by the staff and players on the great start.

If what you are saying is true, and I believe that it is, then you have to give credit to the Overton staff and players that are competitive year in and year out. They must be on to something over there that the others aren't.

Definitely do.  They are doing a great job and I hope they keep it up.

Overton is the most solid because of their tradition, administration, and coaching staff. Terry Anderson has always been a winner.

What makes Overton's continued success really remarkable is that it has the largest ESL population in the state.  Two thirds of the kids that attend Overton go home to a family that doesn't primarily speak English.  That means of that they are competing with essentially 500-600 kids that traditionally play football. (And you can cut that in half because only males play football:)

 

I know that Can Ridge, Antioch, and Glencliff all deal with the same issue, but to a lesser extent.
