BatmanDB
And batman i want you to tell me why couldnt D-B be on the same level as maryville yr after yr?Is the talent over in blount county that much better than Sullivan County and the City of Kingsport? Its like everyone around here puts maryville up on a PEDESTAL.There good and one of if not the best in the state. But what ive seen is teams actted like the game is over before it gets played.JUST SAYIN,And just wantin to see what you're reply is to what i ask you! Nobody has to try and put Maryville on a pedestal.FACTS have taken care of that for fifty years.Sure DB or any other team in the state can have a program like Maryville and be nationally Ranked year after year." I never said anything about 17 to 20 kids ,check it...OK,Here you go.I was at games last year that DB played everyone except the water boy.The same the year before and so on.DB uses the JV games to get even the water boy a little bit of playing time.NOW,WHEN THE GAME IS ON THE LINE and you have a kid that is tired and still runs a 4.4 and you have a kid that is fresh and runs a 4.9....Just sayin. If several tired kids are your best shot ,you play them both ways.Once again, they DO play a lot of kids, but maybe not when the game is on the line Edited July 22, 2013 by BatmanDB
IamDBman
I can think of a few games that the starters where still in ending the 3rd Q(Boone,Central,THS and even South).Just sayin!!!!!! BatmanDB
I agree with you,And what i was meaning was HIGH SCHOOL BALL on the whole.IM nobody to be 2ed guessing coach clark. His record has proved that.Im just sayin if the young men put in the time to practice in the heat of summer and football season and work out then they should have a chance to play. All im tryin to say is,A school that has almost 2000 kids going there should not be having guys playin both ways unless there one of the few gifted players that are D1 or D2 type kids,Thats when i understand the 2 way deal. But thats just my thoughts on it.Agree or Not. IamDBman
I guess this means i got my point across. You keep being CONTENT with the wins over Central,Boone and the other schools in our Conference. And maybe someone else will read these comments we posted on here and understand the BIGGER PICTURE.And know its goin to take alittle more than a (FEW BRAKES) as you call it,To be a contender State wide.I know a few folks that are tired of just being the best in NE Tennessee. But as you're comments show you're not one of them. But im sure if things do change and D-B gets rolling state wide,Im 100% sure you'll be one of the folks that says I TIRED TO TELL EVERYONE!!..JUST SAYIN!!!
