I like the way Riverdale played on defense at the jamboree. Dont think it will get that out of control..............

'If' Coach A lets his DC run the defense, then they should do OK until they wear out about halftime.  R'dale does NOT have the depth for a grind it out game as the defense WILL be on the field a BUNCH.  Look for this one to be decided by the end of the third quarter.

That's pretty much the story line.  The formula for Oakland this year will be to grind their opponent into submission. Riverdale needs to control the ball and keep their defense off the field.  I've seen nothing in the two scrimmages I saw, nor in the jamboree, to make me think Riverdale can move the ball consistently.

I believe Riverdale will be better in game mode...but still not ready for a game like this.

This game is Thursday night but not on tv? Why would they want to play on Thursday night?

I suggested years ago to start with 'staggered starts' so everyone can go watch everyone else (more tickets sold, more cokes sold, chance to see everybody)  :)    No college games to compete with in week 0 :)

I have been trying to get baseball to do this on Saturdays.  A 10:00 am game, 2:30 game and a 7:00 game so everyone can watch each other.....

My gosh man have the mighty fallen. I remember my first experience to Riverdale Football was in 2002. I was working with a lady who had a kid on the team. He was his senior year and she wanted me to shoot the kid and put something together for him. The first time I walked onto the side line I was extremely impressed. It was four deep just to get to the side line. This past Friday Night they had maybe 60 kids total. As for Friday Night against Oakland, I don't know how they score without some help from Oakland.

LOD I hate to say you told me so, but you told me so! Wow, I never thought I'd see the day!
