Is Oakland hype real?

Oakland showed out last night against White Station. White station only had 3 offensive plays in the 4Q. Oakland looks legit, predictions on the Oakland-Siegel game Friday?

Oakland is very much real.  I they stay healthy they could win it all.

 

Not a guarantee they will, but they do have the talent.

You will know if it is 'hype' or not after three games. If they are still winning after Siegel, Blackman, and Smyrna, you will know they are legit and will go deep in the playoffs.

 

The one thing I do know about them is their defense is getting better by the week.

There isn't any hype. They are real. Big, fast physical. Did I mention they are big. Deep in all

positions. The team to beat in 7AAA and as it sits now one half of the championship bracket come early December.

One game at a time men! I would not throw them in the Championship yet as we all know too well that Maryville will have much to say about that and they always do! We all know we have not been very competitive at all with the Rebels except for Siegel last year! This Oakland team could very well be competitive for the Rebels tho but we will have to see! One game at a time Oakland!!

The Maryville / Siegel game last year may have been the best high school game I've ever seen , dang what a shoot out !! Siegel fans and Maryville fans were both in shock as we walked off the field . Hopefully Maryville will keep improving as the year goes on , we have 2 freshmen starting on defense , and they already look pretty darn good . Good luck to Oakland .

I would be a little shocked if Oakland mercy rules Siegel. I look for this to be a competitive game.

Maryville 1st string has given up 7 points this year. Webb's last score was against reserves. D is much better this year. Dline has bigger,stronger kids this year. Ritchie Koons can bench 375lbs and squat 500lbs. He is 6'3 280lbs. Dylan Jackson is 6'6 235/240lbs range and much stronger. Dylan Shinski is bigger and stronger and still quick as a cat.
