If SC doesn't do anything different from Friday, Upperman rolls.

SC is 0-2 and they haven't done that in a long time. 0-3 should be enough motivation.

Monterey hung with Upperman for a half, but the flood gates opened in the second half.

SC is going to play their absolute best game to have a shot. We'll see.

The game against Alcoa was probably what everyone thought it would be,

The game against G-ville probably wasn't what most were expecting....on this side anyway. I think we were caught off guard,flatfooted and unprepared, for whatever reason.

Upperman hasn't beat SC since the 90's and this group of seniors has never even scored a point on them. That's a big mental battle to overcome. Bees have a good team but had a sloppy game against Monterey with some mental mistakes. They will need to play better to beat SC.

But SC could very well shock everyone. Too much history in the program for it to crash and burn completely. They will get things together.

Definately gut check time for the owls. Use your weapons. Grind the ball out. Finish the drive. No big gain negating penalties and keep the ball out of uppermans hands. Defensively. Play nasty. Set the tone from the opening whistle. Upperman hasnt been hit yet and strange things happen when a team is challenged for the first time in a season.

I don't think Monterey is a bad team this year. They have a lot of experience.

Upperman impressed me with the score in that game. It was 21-8 at the half. That's not bad.

For SC to have a chance, Manning, Williams, and Gregory will have to be used.

This game will be a lootttt closer than the GV/UHS game. Smith is gonna come out mad a lot like UHS did Week 0. A huge mental block for UHS as well but Gville beating SC has to help that. It's really close in the 3rd quarter. But SC is out of shape so UHS will roll in the 4th quarter with no 2-way starters
