CPA versus Milan - Round 3

This morning when my son got out of bed for school, he looked like an old lady trying walk.  He was sore from the game last night.  I knew Milan was a physical team and he confirmed it.  At the end of the game as the final seconds were running off, I saw my son and one of the defensive linemen from Milan shake hands and pat each other on the back.  He told me later that the Milan player he was lined up against most of the night had a lot of heart.

Mutual respect.  Nice.

That's a cool story.  Milan vs CPA last two years was by far the most physical game.  Expected nothing less last night.

If you dont play Stratford "who played at cpas game,Pearl cohn, maplewood, whites creek, white haven, fairly, alcoa etc....you wouldnt understand...There all not corp style marching bands and thats what they do. Also theres not a rule in TN about a band playing during the Game. You guys are from west tn so yall dont see it to much but in the Mid state its different..

I was on CPA side and did not notice the Stratford Band as much as the Milan Band.  In that large of an arena the band loses some volume.  Try playing in a small place like CPA It is very loud and I see it could be distracting especially on the snap.  But I love the connection CPA has kept with Stratford.  I see a benefit to both schools.

Oh THAT kind of special weapon..ha, ha!

For me, it's only annoying when the game is in progress.  Play music during timeouts, halftime, etc., but during game time, I like to hear the sounds of the game (pads popping, bones crunching).

hey cyanide that's what I was talking about mainly. I didn't mean to get all this started. They were a great band just played during action which we weren't used to. And the noise was coming straight towards our side and seemed louder than on the cpa side. It didn't bother the players. more the old fans  lol

    • Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.
    • We, SP, blanked them 10-0 in sectional game during 21 season.
    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
