There are three 6A high schools in Blount County, and you have to deal with Alcoa as well

Yes.Maryville and Alcoa have talent and great coaching staffs. William Blount has talent too but they haven't had great coaches since meadows left. It may take a few years for the current staff to get them to where they should be.

The statement that was made earlier was that Maryville has no competition for talent in Blount County. That is clearly false, seeing as there are three 6A schools and Alcoa all drawing from Blount County.

 

No one is disputing that the schools in Middle TN do not have more teams that their talent branches off towards.That is to be expected though, seeing as Murfreesboro is 4x larger than Maryville. That's a lot more talent to go around.
