Wow, i didn't even know that that was Steph Curry's old HS. I know Bobby Phill's son is on the team this year for them and is pretty highly recruited kid himself. Maybe not top tier D1, but i think Stanford has shown interest. If nobody remembers Bobby Phill's he made a career in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers and a few other teams. Wildcats will face even stiffer competition at the Arby's Classic, which will only help them more when the tourney season starts. Love this time of year.

I have a really good friend who teaches and coaches at Science Hill and he said this is the least amount of talent Science Hill has had in a very long time. Now grant it; being down at Science Hill is probably winning 20 games instead of 30. But Halls has a win over a perennial state powerhouse. That will boost morale.

I stand corrected. I watched the game on WLAF and their announcers kept mentioning a kid named Phillips and Pebley as football players. Maybe they were confused about their own team. WLAF is awesome by the way. Had to go there and watch Lenoir City CC game and have watched many games since including Fulton. Seymour is not good and beat CC. We're they missing football kids then too? Silly to defend CC, Clinton, AC etc right now when none of them look good.
