I don't see either beating us next year. AC loses that big line, which was huge for them this year. We killed them in Freshmen game 39-0 and our middle school teams combined I think would beat theirs

Well, for Gaddis to wear the skirt we would've had to score a TD against Maryville on a certain drive. And Gaddis knew that sh*& wasn't going to happen, so I doubt he was sweatin' it too much!

Lol. I was told by a friend who attended the scrimmage it had to do with selling out the concert. But my buddy said it was just stupid to say that over and over. Not sure who it was but my guy said it wasn't Hamrick

I'm looking forward to the SD scrimmage. It turns out I can attend.

Lucky butt haha Do you think we will do better this time around? I talked to OR's D-Coordinator last night ( went to school with him) and he said he was pleased with how the defense played against Maryville. He said he looks for us to do much better overall against SD.

I figure their running back will have at least one long run for a TD. I hope our offense looks better and I hope our QB play is better.

Guessing starting QB will be Warrington based on rotations. If so, who will fill his spot at LB and where will Fadnek move?   

Ideas on where Middleton and his brother will play?

Maryville was a wake up call let's not make excuses. SD is not near as good so to say we will do better, that's a given.

I don't see Maryville as a wake up call. I see them as the best team in the State.

And we are what we are.

 

I thought Warrington played really well running the Ball against a darn good D- the other night for sure.. it does not matter if they know what u are going to do- as long as they can't stop it.

 

But, he needs to work on his passing for sure.

      I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.

      Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.

      Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!

      Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
