Kids at Camden play 3 sports a lot. While our kids have mandatory work outs for football they have many opportunities to get them in..say you need to miss Friday for aau basketball game or travel base

Who does McConnell have on his staff? Did he bring anyone with him from Brighton? Thanks for info in advance!

No Coaches from Brighton came w/McConnell. 3 previous Coaches from Waverly stayed. David Flowers, Kyle Combs, & Kinta Bell. Only new coach is Will Cripps. That's the staff.

What's everybody's thoughts on the scrimmage with Wayne Co. last week?

Good tough nosed scrimmage. Wayne definitely has some power backs that can carry the ball. I think offensively both teams looked decent. Offense for both teams scored 8 touchdowns each. Defense on both sides needs work. Overall good scrimmage. Looking forward to seeing these two match up in the fall again preseason.

My thoughts exactly on the scrimmage, hard fought to the end. WC is playing some younger boys in the secondary and some at new positions. WC lost their best lineman only a few minutes in the game due to having a dum moment and I think that made somewhat of a difference. I hope y'all have a good summer of work and can't wait to see y'all again this fall!

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
