To even make a comment like that is utterly ridiculous(comparing this year's DB team to the great Topper teams of the 90's). Coach Morgan will never be the head coach of a team as good as those SH tea

For a team that Coach Charlie Morgan compared to that of the great SH teams of the 90's and early 2000's, DB sure isn't living up to the hype. They're currently 5-4 overall and 2-2 in a very weak Big

Well just between me and you the truth is Morgan is a good guy but he's just a average basketball coach. He screwed up before the season started by saying something like this was the best group he has had at DB (and they probably are). He raised the bar on himself and that was a mistake. Then he went out and lost 8 games (6 in a row) to teams he should of beat. Even if you win the rest of your games and make it to sub-state, that doesn't make you the coach of the year." Not even close"

Yeah. I don't know much at all about the guy, but to say he is the bet coach in East TN by a mile would be stretching it. Just me, though and I guess you too for that matter. Either way great season for the Indians. Hate either team had to lose that one. Both teams fought extremely hard.

I agree. Best coach in east TN? He might not even be the best coach in Sullivan County.

I can count on both hands a numerous amount of assistants in this area that would be a better hire than Brown. Sometimes as the AD you have to treat it as a slower process than being quick to pull the trigger so soon. I think this is going to be one of those type of decisions they deeply regret in the long run.

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
