I think this is the least talked about or cared about game on the board. Granted the schools and towns are very excited. But in most peoples opinions west tn 2a football is way way down from its heyday in the 90's and early 2000's. It's a foregone conclusion this game is for second place. Hope one of you proves everyone wrong and don't get embarrassed like last year.

Dude, you have another thing coming! First of all, are you aware that Adamsville's best player either didn't play in the championship game or played very, very little due to knee injury? They may not have won but I assure you it would have been much closer. He's that good. If we beat Adamsville the East is in for a big surprise with TCA's balanced offense. Grace is the only team that could match us offensively. It will all depend on our defense as to how we would play against GRace. Adamsville has enough size and skill to slow Grace down and I believe they would give them all they want. Ridiculous post on your part.

I guess I will root for adamsville just like Im doing for trousdale. Although it would be interesting to see the two private schools play each other and set a record for smallest crowd at a state championship game. Is there any way both could lose if they played each other?

So, read 2 of your 5 posts and come to a quick conclusion..........it must stink to be you.

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
