snoball5278
Well lets see. Wofford- 18 rushes for 116, 15-23 for 151 Samford - 15 rushes for -2, 28-34 for 265 bad knee App St- 16 rushes for 132, 13-19 for 127 Furman- 19 rushes for 73, 13-17 for 84 Ga So- 14 rushes for 148, 9-19 for 92 The only pedestrian I see is the Furman game. I would assume these are the decent teams they played. looks like an offense built for one "special" player. if his knee was bad why did dad the coach put him in a position to run on a 1/3 of the plays? do they not have any rb's? Didn't see the game. Only defending a fine young man that yall want to make out to be a bad guy because he beat out your local star for the qb job. BrahmBones
I am not speaking ill of his character. I am sure he is a great young man. He is just a pedestrian QB. That is why their offense dinks and dunks and plods along. In 5 of his 11 games this year he averaged 3.8 yards per carry or less. The fewest carries he had in any of those games was 12. Furman and Samford were the only decent teams in the SoCon this year (and GA southern to some extent) and the play in those games was not so good (good rushing stats against Ga southern)Passing stats are very pedestrian especially when you look at yards per attempt. The UTC offense was not dynamic at all.

He was also working with no big time rb the last few weeks when Keon Williams got hurt. The O put up 406 yds against Samford and he was limited running and 302 against Furman. They also played alot to their defense which I would do also since they had probably the best in the league.
D60
I freely admit I am partial to Terrell, and in all fairness Jacob is a good qb. But Terrell put UTC back on the map last year, and it just really irks me that he wasn't allowed to continue that this year.

Yes, to come in behind BJ Coleman and earn SoCon All Freshman honors, then stand on the sideline once daddy's boy came in is beyond me. I do agree Huesmann is good, but he should play RB when Keon went down. IMO.

reaction
This has to be the most talk UTC football has ever got.
BrahmBones
The NFL average per carry is over 4 ypc. That is the highest standard. Average ypc in college is higher than that and average ypc in high school is higher than college.
