Alcoa v. CPA 3A Championship

Recommended Posts

In order to slow down CPA you have to know what they do. They are a power/buck 3 wide pistol team that plays with a blocking back. They'll target their stud receiver in the passing game. They love to run the smash and throw the hitch to him. When they put him in the slot they like to throw the ball vertically to him. On defense their linemen are big and physical but what makes them go is their safeties. They get downhill and play the off tackle game well against the run. They'll roll the secondary to motion and mix up coverages well. They're not complicated in scheme but they do have great players and the fact that they don't do much makes them very good.

NWS in Nashville issues Weather Alert:

...BIG CHANGES IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE WEATHER ARE EXPECTED BY THE
END OF THE WEEK...

A WARMING TREND WILL SEND TEMPERATURES TO AROUND 70 DEGREES
IN SOME AREAS BY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. THE HIGH TEMPERATURE
FORECAST FOR NASHVILLE TOMORROW IS 71 DEGREES. HOWEVER...THESE
PLEASANTLY MILD TEMPERATURES ARE NOT EXPECTED TO LAST LONG.

ON THURSDAY...YOU CAN EXPECT A STRONG ARCTIC COLD FRONT TO PUSH
ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE. THE FRONT IS EXPECTED TO INTERACT WITH A
MOIST SOUTHWEST FLOW OF AIR IN THE UPPER ATMOSPHERE AND PRODUCE AN
EXTENDED PERIOD OF RAINFALL...SOME OF WHICH WILL BE LOCALLY HEAVY.
RAINFALL TOTALS THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT ARE EXPECTED BE
BETWEEN TWO AND THREE INCHES OVER MOST OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

AS ARCTIC AIR PUSHES DEEPER INTO MIDDLE TENNESSEE LATE THIS WEEK
...YOU CAN EXPECT A WINTRY MIX TO DEVELOP. TEMPERATURES WILL
TUMBLE AFTER THE COLD FRONT PASSES...AND BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON WILL
REACH THE LOWER AND MIDDLE 30S OVER ABOUT THE NORTHWEST HALF OF
THE AREA. RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CHANGE TO A MIX OF SNOW AND SLEET
FRIDAY AFTERNOON IN AREAS NORTH AND WEST OF NASHVILLE...AND CHANGE
OVER TO SNOW AND SLEET IN THE NASHVILLE AREA EARLY FRIDAY NIGHT.
IT IS LOOKING INCREASINGLY LIKELY THAT AN ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL
OCCUR OVER AT LEAST THE NORTHWEST HALF OF THE MID STATE FRIDAY NIGHT
...BEFORE PRECIPITATION TAPERS OFF EARLY SATURDAY.

RIGHT NOW...IT LOOKS LIKE MAINLY A MIX OF RAIN AND SLEET FOR
SOUTHERN AND EASTERN PARTS OF THE MID STATE. HOWEVER...IF THE COLD
AIR PUSHES DEEPER ACROSS TENNESSEE THAN CURRENTLY EXPECTED...
ACCUMULATING SNOW COULD OCCUR OVER SOUTHERN AND EASTERN COUNTIES
AS WELL. AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE WEEKEND...COMPUTER MODELS SHOULD
HELP METEOROLOGISTS DETERMINE IF ANY CHANGES TO THE FORECAST WILL
BE NEEDED. FOR THIS REASON...YOU ARE ADVISED TO REMAIN ALERT TO
YOUR LOCAL FORECAST AS THE WEEK PROGRESSES TO KNOW HOW BEST TO
PREPARE FOR THIS UPCOMING WINTER WEATHER EVENT.

ANOTHER EPISODE OF WINTRY WEATHER IS FORECAST FOR SATURDAY NIGHT
INTO THE MID MORNING HOURS ON SUNDAY...WITH FREEZING RAIN
EXPECTED TO BE ONE OF THE MAIN CONCERNS.

joe Cozart played QB and DB at sweetwater, but he could boom those punts. I remember when he was at UT I would say why don't they let him Punt the ball.

they were Quail high and easy to return but man were they shot out of there !!! Have see him punt 70-75 on the fly but rolled in to the zone!! Big Todd used vist his cuz often and they would hang on The cats field and just punt and kick field goals for hours. ... He said zone to zone was common with roll !

Gonna go out on a limb & say Alcoa probably knows what they do.

Yes...my friend...gave that up a while back.

Gonna be a great game...hope weather holds out.

Yes, it will be. Course you know how sensitive those tornados are to weather. Little change in temp and they just don't form up at all. Suspect, though, they'll be ready.

You coming over, since it's just in your backyard? I'll save ya seat in the pressbox.
