LOL Harpeth is not even in 11AA. Lewis Co 1st ,Fairview 2nd,and Camden 3rd

I have no idea how Fairview will fair. We lose a ton of play makers again this year. Thought this year would be a down year but had players step up and fill some big shoes. Hopefully we can have a ton of players step up next year. But we lose Wall,Moore,Harvey,Jordan,Myatt,Shiver, etc etc. Return Buttrey and Zimmerman at qb. Good luck to everyone next year!

Stewart County returns 8 players on each side of the ball. How competetive they will be remains to be seen. I have high hopes for them to improve on their 3 win season. I know if hard work will help then Coach Finley should field a better team but you all know this is one tough district and we are just trying to get better. Good luck and will see you next fall! I don't know enough about the rest of the teams to predict who will win the district or make the playoffs but you do not bet against the traditional powers and you know who they are.

Top four prediction Lewis Co, Camden, Fairview, Hickman Co. I would expect with all the big leads Lewis and Fairview had in most games they were able to get some younger players a lot of snaps and I know they are coached well. East Hickman lost six starters on offense and seven on defense. If they can get good o-line play they could be in the mix.

Look for the Indians of MCHS to make some noise. We have just about everybody back. Also, our neighbors from Creek Wood have most everyone back from what I can tell. This is a tough district. With quality teams year in and year out and others getting better. Should be a fun '14.

I agree. I feel like 2014 will be more competitive with fewer lopsided wins.

    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
