I like what we got outta this,we'll actually throw the ball around this season. Also thought our young kids showed alot of promise. But as far as a scouting report, our big boys will determing how good we are. I'm sure everyone of these teams are in the same boat.

 

I do think JC could have a pretty big year,They should have the line to compliment the skill guys.

Any news up in H-Town? I've got the itch for some football. Ready to here those pad poppin.

Any news up in H-Town? I've got the itch for some football. Ready to here those pad poppin.

     Nothing really to report about, we've got quite afew big fellers who look the part,skill positions should be very good. Its just a matter of everyone showing up to work. It could turn out to be a great season. It will be interesting to see who all the startyers are in week 0. Shoud be alot of comp at several positions.

How did the scrimmage with Sullivan Central go today?

Started off sluggish as heck on both sides of the ball, give up some big plays and couldn't move the ball a lick. Got much better as it went on, it was completely different. One thing is for sure,we can't start any games like we did in the scrimmage. We were missing a few who  may be starting and have a few 1st year starters. Upside looks good but it will take a little time.Hopefully well have all our players back and be ready on the 22ond.

Yeah, Mike will have them ready when the 22nd rolls around. When the summer break ends all the young men will be back out there. Can't wait to see what they can do.

          They've got some potential, but potential hasn't ever won a game.Just hoping we can stay healthy and get to our potential by playoffs. 2a will be a guantlet this year.

I've got high hopes for the Dogs! 2A is always tough when Oneida has a say. They are always tough. We will see where we stack up early on in the season.

pujo, you think any of us east of Knoxville has a fighting chance in 2a this year. typically you all are our best chance. We gonna be a pretty good bit better than last year if we stay healthy. I don't know that we are State title contenders yet that may take another week or 2 of practice before were there. How do you think yall match up with the other big dogs this year like GCA and TC. I seen GCA at passing camp in Gatlinburg...they more than pass the eye test but then again they didn't have to hit anybody.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
