I agree Pujo. Could you imagine Ford in centerfield?? That would be a no fly zone, especially on our field. Also, you show me a runningback, quarterback, or wide receiver that plays baseball, and I'll show you a team with speed. Speed kills in football, basketball and also in baseball.

You could put any kind of Ford in centerfield, maybe an f350, and it wouldn't get hit for 9 innings against cloudland

Cloudland actually improved quite a bit as the season went on last year. Zac Benfield gave it a try and enjoyed the heck out of it. Landers may field a fairly strong team next season.

On a positive note ,its only a week untilt the pigskin starts flying around. Suposed to be 15 teams at Hampton. Its not really footbal, but its still alot of fun. I for one will be glad to see this laST foolish  dead week out of the way.One week of that is a plenty in my opinion.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
