BringBack119
9-5 or 8-6 in favor of public. Eli King at 106 for Ryan would change my result at that weight class
Sommers
D1 would have to watch the bonus points from 106-126 & 138 Same for D2 170-285. Hamilton would need to do his thing at 145 be careful or hope a ref slow to slap the mat again
memphissoccerpimp22
I'm officiated a tourney in Arkansas yesterday and found out a couple of things and the biggest one was that they have a individual state a dual state and then the last weekend they have what's called a grand championship which is basically whoever won the Individual state champ wrestles the other state champ in different division. So for us this would be D1 vs D2... Now why is it that Arkansas has this but yet the state of TN doesn't???????. Mind you that ark wrestling is nothing like Tn and is nowhere near the size but yet they are doing this?????

memphissoccerpimp22
And I'm sure many other states do
beattheheat316
To stop all the arguments of who IS better D1 or D2 heres a solution: D1 AAA and D1 A-AA have wrestle offs between state champions after individual state is over, then D1 state champs have a dual match with D2 state champs

Sommers
Alan Jones! Where are you? Can this happen? UTC? Accommodations? 4 lb weight allowance? What you say coaches, Mark Reeves? There's a dead period. How bout a couple of TSSAA non sanctioned events like this during off season
maj
why not have a round robin and let all the state champs wrestle each other ? Edited January 13, 2014 by maj
baller95
Round robin is good. Or find a way to make worth someone's while monetarily and go top 3 D1 AAA, top 3 D2, and top 2 AA/A. Makes eight kid bracket and allows 112 kids versus 42 kids to compete, thus more money in concessions, parking, and gate or in entry fee if applicable. Someone may do it, but they wont do it without a profit. You could make first round match-ups: Top D1 AAA 1st vs. D2 3rd D2 2nd vs. D1 AA/A 2nd Bottom D1 AA/A 1st vs. D1 AAA 2nd D2 1st vs, D1 AAA 3rd You could flip the D1 AA/A 1st placer match every other weight to be fair to all. Just some more 2 cents thought. All about $$$$$ in the end. Edited January 13, 2014 by baller95
