Sure. I'm already footing more than my fair share of the bill. Our schools are too small. Build out the good ones where kids want to go, and close the bad ones. :thumb:

where do the "bad students" go especially if they start turning other schools "bad" with low test scores and high drop out rates?

The "bad students" can go to the good schools when the "bad" schools get closed.  At least they will be in an environment where they have an opportunity to improve.  The "bad" schools are failing, and no one seems to be able to make things better.  Put the "bad students" in with a bunch of "good students" at a "good" school, and perhaps they will have a chance.

It just doesn't make sense to me that a student can transfer to a school with a better band, theater, engineering, or any other program; but can't transfer to a school with a better athletic program.
