I'm sure Landers started showing symptoms late evening before the tournament...I saw him the night before he looked rough...and I'm coach/parent for Stampede/Ocoee...but by then it was too late in the ball game to make a substitution...and the Soddy kid I found out that morning at weigh ins...look these things happen...don't fault a kid...for one I'm glad in a way k to see Landers not go...not from a competitive stand point but from a health stand point...I mean would you want your son to come into contact with the flu this close to state? No I know I dont...but yeah I know they have to come into contact some time...and don't fault a kid for growing...my son grew an inch over Christmas Break and added weight not from lack of exercise but just from growth...

And lastly, Region 4 is still one of the toughest in the state...things happen every year at this time that people get upset about...it's just the nature of the beast....As a whole the more kids we get involved...more schools we get involved in the sport the better off Tennessee Wrestling will become....

    • Should be a big week in Dayton coming up with the 100th anniversary of the Scopes Monkey Trial.
    • AE has a lot of new transfers and a very good incoming freshman class to mess with the current players.  That's why I'm saying don't sleep on AE.  Many are thinking they can't get back to their winning ways but I think this 2025 team will open a lot of eyes and let the state know, AE won't be an easy win anymore.

    • Correct information on your part Waco regarding your years and wins with no generalities. if Fulmer had not been fired, he would have easily been retired for several  years by now. It’s a new regime at TN participating in the deepest football conference in America.
    • Take your own advice Mr. Bill.  Memphis should stay out of the national news if it doesn't want people knowing about their "business."  SP's classes of '25, 26 and 27 contributed as well.  At the beginning of the season, we weren't sure if SP could make it out of the 2nd or 1st round in 2024 due to only 2 or 3 seniors only 1 of which played much.  We were extremely proud of that 2024 team for what they accomplished between game 1 and game 15.
