Middleton beats Riverside by 20 to earn a berth in championship game. Still think TCA and Adamsville is a toss up . TCA may have slight advantage due to home court advantage. Going to be a fun night.

There is a world of difference between our football and basketball teams. Do not expect the same effort. This team has been to the state the last two years. Coming to the “Tiger Den†is a wild experience. Only two teams in the region have been to the “Glass House†in the last two years and both are in Memphis.

Tonight's Adamsville at TCA game can be heard on WDVW 105.3fm and at http://www.gracebroadcasting.com .  Stan Gerard will have the call of this game.  The Countdown to Tipoff pregame show is scheduled to begin at 7:15pm central time although we might take the air earlier with some bonus coverage if the situation warrents.  Tipoff of the TCA and Adamsville game is slated for 7:30pm. Hey Galilee, nobody from our region made it to Murfreesboro last year. Humboldt beat us and Lake County beat MAHS.

Don't look for any 16A womens teams to advance out of the first round.  Thus, the semi's and finals on the womens side would come back east and out of Memphis

The only way it moves out of Memphis is if all 4 boys and girls teams from 16 A get beat the first night.  If one of them wins it stays at Mitchell for the tourney....

Great ballgame tonight! TCA is peaking at the right time. I've been telling folks when 8 of your first 9 players don't get into the gym until December 3rd you are going to struggle early. We didn't really start playing well until mid January. Adamsville is a very, very good team and we very well could see them again. I think they are good enough to beat Mitchell or BTW. Their size and skill at the post will always give them a chance. Both Burcham's can hurt you if you are not careful and Majors is a solid blue collar player who plays his role as well as anybody. Their only weakness is their depth. TCA's depth tonight was the difference along with outstanding rebounding! Goldsmith was MVP with 18 points and at least 12 rebounds. Going to be interesting to see if Middleton's best player will be playing Tuesday night. He has a cast on his left hand and did not dress tonight. He's a stud! Middleton will be tough regardless. They always are!

Indeed tca played well, adamsville seemed to struggle from peremiter, where they usually play pretty good at. Tca was solid team effort, very deep. Will be good games to watch tues. For sure. Riverside made a fame out of theirs pretty much without hehe on the court.
