Keith Hodge steps down at Dresden...

Do any of the other applicants have Chad's experience as an offensive and defensive coordinator? Doubt it.  Do any of the other applicants have Chad's success.  Seriously doubt it.  Do any of them have the ability to teach what he can teach.  Ha.  Do any of them have the players and community behind them like he does?  See a pattern here?  Unless your administration is just wanting to be stubborn and purposely not give the job to him then this should have already been taken care of.  I'm sure the rest of the district wants you guys to screw this one up but we don't.  We love the competition here in Huntingdon.  We want you guys to have good/great players with the best coach so when we beat you there is no doubt we beat a great team with a great coach.  No excuses.

Nice to see some support from Huntingdon. Interestingly enough one of your fans is the major setback for Coach Chad Hodge at this point. I know there are a few in every crowd (we've got several  ). If Chad doesn't get the job it's not for lack of support & trying from the majority of the community & players. Most people have written letters of recommendation to the administration. We need him at Dresden as a head coach, role model & most importantly as a teacher. His sideline antics can all be attributed to his care & concern for his players. It's called passion. If a coach doesn't have it you need to find a new one in my opinion. GO LIONS!!

Anyone hearing anything about our coaching position? Been awfully quiet..... Keep hearing the Gleason connection is front runner. You would think, they should be announcing who the man is pretty soon. Heard Chuck say on the radio they would have a coach in time for spring practice. Hurry up Chuckles!!!!!!

I would have thought with the whole community behind Chad that the administration would have simply sat down with him already and found out if they could get everything to work out.  And if they couldnt that they would then start looking at other people interested in the job.  Sounds like that would have saved a ton of time.  The new coach is losing a ton of time with the players with this process.  It could end up hurting you guys this fall.  No matter though, would still lose to us.

That would be too easy!!  But that is also one reason I am wondering if Chad is even being considered for the job because that would have made more sense.

Its amazing the rumors that I'm hearing. Last name night I heard Chuck West's youngest son applied, coach Hewitt's son and also Joe gaddis. The last one was very comical. The other two I've heard from very reliable sources that neither teachers sons applied. Did hear a lake county coach, a utm assistant along with union city assistant, Gleason coach, and Chad so I only know six of fifteen. This is taking too da-n long!!!!
