Sequatchie wins 3-1 with a nice three run homer by the left fielder (I think) in the bottom of the fifth. Maybe they can bounce back tomorrow.

I know common opponents aren't a great way to compare teams but we may match up with CC well. We lost to Baylor 4-1 (without our starting pitcher) and they lost to Baylor 12-2. We beat Whitwell earlier in the season and they lost to Whitwell 6-0.

 

I feel confident about our chances as long as we don't implode.

Strong pitching by both, again today. DC gave up a few hits but struck out several. DC scored one in the fifth-walk with one out, error on sac bunt, first and second, then FC, no throw, bases loaded. Fly to center, 1-0, tag for out three on next batter. Bottom of fifth, single with one out, error on sac bunt, first and second, then three run HR well over the fence. Two hits by DC for the game, they had several on with walks too. Six for Seq.
