Walker Valley bows out of the Gulf Coast Classic with a loss in the 2nd round. Finished 5-2 to push their record to 14-3.

 

 

 

Soddy Daisy beat Ooltewah again 13-0 to distance themselves from the rest of the 5-AAA field. Upcoming Soddy, East Hamilton game should be interesting.

Central beat Silverdale 4-3 Thursday and beat Ooltewah 2-0 at Summit tonight.

Sequatchie came back to beat Tuscaloosa ACA 2-1, one of their best performances of the season so far.

Yes, meant they were distancing themselves as one of the top two in the district. Big rematch between the two in 2 weeks.

Per the Times Free Press online article, Baylor is the only team with 2 wins in the tournament at the Summit.

 

Whitwell also has 2 wins, they beat Central 6 to 0 and beat Jefferson County 6 to 1.

Central beat Jefferson County 5-0. Whitwell beat Ooltewah 1-0. Remainder of Summit tournament rained out.

Top Ten....After seeing Baylor this weekend... They are one then there seems to be a big gap to 2 and on. It would be interesting to see their team batting avg. anyone care to speculate ??
